August In Bloom was founded by Sara Lam in Toronto in 2014.

We started as an event styling company. We grew into a full creative design and production studio. The team expanded. The projects got bigger and we got to hone our craft.

The approach didn't change.

Sara grew up around interior design, an early education in how a room works, why some spaces feel considered and others don't. Her background in the sciences added another layer: a precision and technical rigour that shapes how every project gets built, not just how it looks.

The result is a studio that cares equally about the art and the execution. Colour, pattern, texture, reaction. And then the work of making it actually happen, flawlessly, and on time.

We take our cues from art, fashion, interior design, and architecture. We are drawn to the quirky, the unexpected, the detail that makes your story yours and nobody else's.
